Deputy Minister of Information Society Mirjana Sekulovska, PhD, on significant ICT meetings in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria

Sofia, 30 and 31 of March 2009

Deputy Minister of Information Society Mirjana Sekulovska, PhD, together with delegation from Ministry of Information Society-MIS, in her two day visit to Sofia, realized very significant ICT meetings in government institutions of information technologies and telecommunications of Republic of Bulgaria.

At the first working day she had meeting with the Deputy Presidents of State Agency of Information Technologies and Communications, Krassimir Simonski, PhD, and Dimitar Stanchev. At this meeting, past and future projects of the agency ware presented. Visit of the data center and telecenters of the Republic of Bulgaria was organized same as the visit of the Bulgarian Academic and Research Network-BARN with the Director Boyko Lechev.

At the second day, Deputy Minister Sekulovska was at the working meeting in the Coordination Center for Information, Communication and Management Technologies-CCICMT, of Republic of Bulgaria with Roumen Trifonov, PhD, Director of the CCICMT. Main topics of the meeting was electronic management in Republic of Bulgaria, same as the issues of interoperability.

Government delegation leaded by the Deputy Minister in MIS, Mirjana Sekulovska, PhD, realized an visit at the National Innovation Center of ICT-NICICT, as well.

Deputy Minister Mirjana Sekulovska meet the Executive Director of NERA for Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Nikola Kumanov an they agreed for strengthening the intensity of the future bilateral collaboration of the two countries.
