Minister Ivanovski visits specialized IT trainings for unemployed people

Minister of information society Ivo Ivanovski today visited specialized trainings in information technology (IT) aimed at unemployed people which are being conducted in the Next Sense company.

Ivanovski pointed out that the purpose of this project was to actively include unemployed citizens in the IT sector, through trainings for gaining skills in information technology.


- The Ministry of information technology has committed for meeting requirements of the chamber and IT companies. With financial support from the Employment Agency, 80 citizens are given possibility to pass these courses and face the fact and reality whether they are capable of continuing their work in the IT field, or will probably decide to change direction, added the Minister.


Daniel Danilovski, manager of the Next Sense for professional trainings, said that the selected people attended two kinds of courses.


- The trainings that are presently being conducted include Windows server 2008 System Administrator, one of the most required professions today, since there is no company which can imagine its work without such infra structure. The second part of the trainings is about SQL Server Data without programming, which is also very actual theme and very required profession in Macedonian companies, said Danilovski.


This pilot project was initiated by the Employment Agency on proposal of the Ministry of information society.
